Barbeque was a bad choice

Location: St. Simons Island, Ga
Distance: 6.5 miles
Temperature: 57 degrees

Today I went to get my oil changed, and, of course, I leave the place and my car with a thousand things that needed to be fixed. I was a little angry that I had to sit at the car place for four hours just to hear that they couldn't fix my car today because they had to order the parts. To abate my anger I told Anna that I needed a barbeque sandwich from Southern Soul (it's the jam). After Anna, Ford, and I finished, I was feeling pleasantly satisfied. Ford dropped Anna and I off at Frederica so that we could get a ride home with our media specialist mother. We hung out for a little bit, and then got bored. We decided to run home and use Anna's new running chip that she inserts into her shoe (nifty little gadget).
I was still quite full, but I wanted to run, and when I want to run, I run. We ran at a pretty quick pace. The pace felt comfortable for me, but I could definitely feel some Southern Soul in my stomach. I kept thinking that the overwhelming fullness in my stomach would wane, but it was pretty consistent throughout the entire run. I don't regret the run because when I was finished it was such a great feeling that I forgot that I was full of porky while I was running. Next time I will plan my eating before I run... oh yeah, and drink more water.
